This Privacy Policy explains how the Macro & Calorie Calculator app ("the App") handles information. The App is provided by Principia Partners LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). We built the App to be private by design: your calculations run entirely on your device and it does not require an account. The only information that leaves your device is what Apple and our subscription provider need to process an optional purchase (described below).
We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal information. The details you enter (such as age, sex, height, weight, activity level, and goal) and any profiles you save stay on your device. We have no servers that receive this data, and we cannot see it.
The App lets you enter body metrics to calculate calorie, macronutrient, BMI, and fluid estimates. These values are processed locally on your device to produce the results shown on screen. They are not sent to us or to any third party.
This on-device data is removed when you delete the App. We never receive a copy of it.
We do not collect names, email addresses, contacts, precise location, or health records. The App does not create an account and does not include analytics or tracking that identifies you.
All calculations run offline on your device. The App uses one third-party service, and only if you choose to subscribe:
The App contains no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party tracking.
If you use the App through TestFlight, Apple may collect information such as crash logs and basic usage data to support beta testing, as described in Apple's Privacy Policy. This is handled by Apple, not by us.
The App is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Because your data stays on your device, its security is governed primarily by your device's own protections. We recommend keeping your device updated and protected with a passcode.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the App evolves. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the new version at this URL.
